    Windsor Essex Brokerage for Personal Supports is funded by the Ministry of Community and Social Services to be the primary place for information for adults 18 years of age and older with developmental disabilities in Windsor and Essex County.

Work Only For The Person Who Has A Developmental Disability And Their Family

  • work only for the person with the disability and their family / trusted network
  • achieve this by being unencumbered (with no strings attached) from the direct service delivery system
  • offer a support for people who are looking for a different way to work toward their goals
  • maximize self-determination in our role as the primary and dedicated resource for unencumbered planning support and facilitation in Windsor and Essex County
  • facilitate the planning process with the person and those closest to the person – always seeing the person as the actual planner
  • work toward strengthening people and families through the use of tools we can offer; to assist people and families to take control of their lives and ensure accountability to themselves, the transfer payment agency and the funder
