    Windsor Essex Brokerage for Personal Supports is funded by the Ministry of Community and Social Services.  ‘Brokerage’  is in Windsor and Essex County for people who have a developmental disability.

Work Only For The Person Who Has A Developmental Disability And Their Family

  • work only for the person with the disability and their family / trusted network
  • achieve this by being unencumbered (with no strings attached) independent from the direct service delivery system
  • offer a support for people who are looking for a different way to work toward their goals
  • maximize self-determination in our role as the primary and dedicated resource for unencumbered/independent planning support and facilitation in Windsor and Essex County
  • facilitate the planning process with the person and those closest to them – always seeing the person as the actual planner
  • people and families are strengthened to take control of their lives, tailor their supports, and ensure accountability to themselves, the transfer payment agency and the funder
